Living in Weston
Weston covers about 27 square miles in western Broward County, with about 68,000 residents as of the 2020 census. It became a city in 1996 and sits along I-75, with the Everglades to the west.
Getting around
I-75 runs through the city and connects to I-595 and the Sawgrass Expressway on the north end. Weston Road, Bonaventure Boulevard and Royal Palm Boulevard are the main local roads, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is about 20 miles away.
Parks
Weston Regional Park has sports fields, trails and a playground, and Vista Park and Peace Mound Park are close by. Many communities also have their own lakes and walking paths.
Shopping and errands
Weston Town Center has restaurants and shops, with grocery stores and everyday errands along Weston Road and Indian Trace.
Schools
Weston is served by Broward County Public Schools. Boundaries change, so confirm the assigned schools for any address at browardschools.com before you buy.
