10 questions to ask any agent before you list

The right agent should answer each of these clearly and back it up with numbers. Use this list for every agent you interview, including me.

1. How many homes like mine have you sold, and where?
2. What do you think my home will sell for, and which sales support that price?
3. How long are homes like mine taking to sell right now?
4. How will you market my home, online and offline?
5. Who will I talk to day to day, you or an assistant?
6. How and how often will you update me?
7. What should I fix before listing, and what should I leave alone?
8. How do you handle multiple offers?
9. What will I net after commission, closing costs and my mortgage payoff?
10. Can I read reviews from your recent sellers?
